How To Be Successful In Network Marketing
Posted by: | CommentsThe advantages of network marketing are numerous. You can create many revenue streams, make residual income, sell great products, and connect with some terrific people.
But let’s face it…what gets people interested in network marketing, can be boiled down to one word: LIFESTYLE. Yeah, that elusive concept that gets us all drooling. Trips, cars, swimming pools, philanthropic activities, and overall CONTROL over our lives.
But is it possible for the average person to achieve this? Well, statistically speaking, it’s not. Most people that start off with great intentions, never get to the point where they are making a living, let alone achieve their ultimate lifestyle.
Why is this? The hard reality is that the average person is not willing to work hard enough or long enough to achieve what they say they want.
For the few that will make it, it only comes down to 4 cornerstones…
1. Mindset – Without proper mindset, it doesn’t matter what business you are in. Believe in yourself. Read books, go to seminars, avoid the news. Put good stuff in your brain and your heart every day. Apply what you are absorbing.
2. Training – Learn from the best. Get a mentor. Find a system that has good training. Again, apply what you are learning. Take a little at a time, and be patient with yourself.
3. Systems – All successful business people have systems in place .
They have ways to learn, generate leads, brand themselves, and daily action plans. The system that I use is really helping people to be successful in network marketing because it brings in ALL of the 4 cornerstones.
4. Action – Without daily consistent action, you will never be successful in network marketing and as a result, you will not be able to experience the advantages of network marketing. If you want to get other people interested in network marketing, be active. Get your mind right, get trained, use a good system, and TAKE ACTION!
Through action comes knowledge
Through knowledge comes growth
Through growth comes relationships
Through relationships come recognition
Through recognition comes results
Through results comes wealth
Through wealth comes lifestyle.
It doesn’t happen overnight, but if you align yourself with the right people, it can happen efficiently. To learn how to be effective in all 4 areas, go to
I will see you there!

Is Twitter Dead?
Posted by: | CommentsAbout a year ago, I got pretty involved in Twitter. I was meeting some really great people, networking and connecting. It was fun, and I was even getting leads from it. There was always some new course being offered, and new “twitter celebrities” were popping up all the time.
The active people on Twitter were also very good at policing things….too many marketing messages were frowned upon, and for the most part, things worked pretty well. There was a communication frenzy going on that was almost intoxicating.
Then, about 6 months ago, the bottom fell out. The cat was out of the bag. Many pseudo-marketers looked at it as a forum for blasting their messages. People got onto Twitter in droves, and just started spamming the entire community. Twitter did ban a lot of offenders, but they simply could not keep up with the people who insisted on littering the community with blatant marketing messages.
Back in the “good old days,” I had about 3,500 followers. If I put out an article, or a thought-provoking post, I could get about 40-50 eyeballs on it in a 24 hour period. Now I have 23,000 followers, and I am a better marketer. I am putting out better quality material. And now, I am lucky if I get 1-2 looking at my posts.
For most of the people who’ve been following me on Twitter, you’ve noticed (or have you?) that I don’t spend as much time on Twitter anymore. I find it much more difficult to make real connections, as there is so much litter to wade through. So, I now do most of my networking on Facebook.
I recently UNfriended (yes, UN) about 4,000 people on Facebook, just to get back to a manageable number of people that I was really connecting with. It has proven to be a really good move for me. I am now really connecting with the people that I really want to get to know. Isn’t that what Social Media is all about?
So, is Twitter dead? You tell me.

I Got Choked Up During The SuperBowl
Posted by: | CommentsOK, it’s not what you’re thinking. Sure, it was great to see the underdog win, and I’m very happy for the city of New Orleans, but let’s face it…the commercials are usually better than the game.
In this case, it was Google’s commercial. Yes, Google. That behemoth that we all love to hate. So, did Google waste millions airing this commercial?
So incredibly simple, so incredibly powerful. And here’s the best part: You and I can make videos just like this, on our own computers! Did you see actors? No. Did you see any fancy graphics? No. Just compelling music that stirs your emotions. Simple. Effective. STELLAR marketing.
Do you agree?

The Ultimate SuperTip
Posted by: | CommentsThere’s an Ebook I have just come across which is rapidly becoming very popular. It presents a strategy for selling any type of product using methods which will never become obsolete. Plus an ingenious twist which will send your traffic rocketing.
The Ultimate SuperTip, written by Harvey Segal (Mr SuperTips) is neatly set out, easy to follow, written without hype and not littered with annoying links. And the cost of this book? It’s free! And it ends with an amazing idea for making you money from the book itself!
In this short (37 page) – and free – Ebook, Harvey has managed to include one unique idea after another on a wide variety of topics starting with his controversial stance on search engines and moving on to…
- Getting traffic to your site
- Preselling with free ebooks
- Preselling with articles
- Autoresponders and follow up campaigns
- Ad tracking
- Affiliate marketing
- ClickBank
- Viral marketing
- PDF book creation
- Ebook rebranding
- Creating niche sites
- Resale rights
And, the end of the book comes with this awesome (and surprising) viral twist.
For your convenience, I’ve included a link to download your free copy, RIGHT HERE. I have read this a few times now, and find it to be VERY compelling. I’d love to know your thoughts. Please feel free to comment.

VERY Revealing Interview with Justin Christianson, CFO of Magnetic Sponsoring
Posted by: | CommentsHonestly, I was not going to post this. The video was taken in the back of a noisy bar with bad lighting. Yeah, the quality is THAT bad. But, Justin is such a smart guy, and there are SOOOOOO many great nuggets of wisdom in this video, that it would be a shame not to share it with everyone.
I hope you get as much out of it as I did…

Mike Dillard UN-FOLLOWS 10,000 People on Twitter?
Posted by: | CommentsToday I received an email from Mike Dillard, stating that he has had a change of heart regarding his Twitter account. Orignally, Social Media Maven Perry Belcher had convinced him to follow everyone that followed him, out of politeness, and to increase the number of Mike’s followers. but now, Mike is going to UN-FOLLOW 10,000 PEOPLE? That seems crazy.
In Mike’s own words, here is his logic…
And if everyone is just “reciprocal following” everyone, it’s not because they WANT to listen to that person, but because they’re trying to increase their exposure and number of followers…”
In the end, reciprocal following simply dilutes the power of an application like Twitter because it’s a behavior that’s motivated by greed instead of authenticity, just so we can all enjoy the illusion of having more followers…”
OK Mike, I hear what you’re saying, but honestly, I DON’T AGREE. Twitter is a tool for CONNECTING with people. If you only follow the people you know, then how will you network and meet new people? I’ve recently made some great new friends on Twitter. There are some people who have just started following me, that look very interesting to me. They could be future friends, affiliates, business associates, or even JV partners.
OK, I don’t agree with Perry Belcher either. I don’t follow every single person that follows me. Politeness? Rubbish. I follow MOST people that follow me. If they have interesting tweets (posts), and seem to bring VALUE to the community, I want to follow them. I have gotten some great tips, and been directed to some great links by people who I’ve never met. I’ve never even interacted with them on Twitter. Of course, these are the people who make it to my “special” feed on TweetDeck, as I will try to interact with them at some point. These are the people I want to get to know.
As Twitter goes mainstream, there will be a lot of debate on this subject. What are your thoughts?
