The Great Divide
ByI don’t know about you, but I’m sick of hearing about our recession, or what some are even calling our depression. How many times have you heard these two words lately? …THE ECONOMY. Yeah, I thought so.
It is clear that a Great Divide is taking place in our country, and it is spreading around the world. There are two different types of people…
1. The people who cling to their old values in a world that is changing very quickly, and…
2. The people who embrace change, learn new skills, and continue to challenge themselves.
Sadly, the great majority of people fall into the first category. Although I offer no scientific proof, it is clear to me that this represents at least 90% of the general population. These people wring their hands, watch the news, and just accept the negativity that is being fed to them. Some of these people get laid off, lose their homes, or get behind on their bills. Others simply stick to the status quo of their miserable lives as they don’t want to rock their boat in the storm.
Clearly, the ones who embrace change will lead very satisfying lives. This downturn in our economy does open some opportunities, but only for those who can see it, and who do not listen to the constant drone of the media.
In my case, I saw that my Network Marketing business was not growing as it should. I did not put it aside, but I got involved in real estate investing as a means to hedge my bet. That was productive, but it did not give me the consistent returns that I was looking for.
So, I decided to learn how to market on the internet. I bought courses, met the gurus (personally) and networked a lot. I became a serious student, and spent months studying, and applying what I had learned.
I eventually ended up in a top-tier Direct Sales opportunity that teaches people how to become serious entrepreneurs. We teach marketing on the internet, how to change mindset, and how to completely change one’s financial picture with proper education. Of course, this is what a lot of people are looking for, and business could not be better. However, I’m certain this would not have happened had I not been open to embracing change, and to look for the silver lining within the clouds. The best part is, I am attracting like- minded individuals, so I rarely even associate with all of the naysayers anymore.
So, let me ask you…
Take a good look at your life. What camp are you falling into? Please note that you cannot be partially in one camp or another. You are either embracing change or you are not. You are either moving forward, or you are not. This old Baby Boomer has learned a lot of new skills over the last couple of years. Are you learning new skills? Are you challenging yourself? Are you taking on projects that allow you to make your own economy?
I hope so. I’m rooting for you!

i believe it is probably impossible not to change…even if its around and around and around the pattern we’ve created for ourselves…i live in iowa ..mostly agricultural…which matches the mentality of the people…i live near cedar rapids which combined agriculture and industrial with such places as quaker oats, penick ford, cargill, general foods…we have some hunting going on put not much to sustain many people per se…the information age say many industrial plants go under and telemarketing flourish…the information age has peaked, computers are now beat humans at chess and probably any other digitalized game imaginable, so much information it is IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to keep up…the conceptual age is based on your own individual unique artistic miraculous genius finding expression, purpose, product or service…that is a small group but growing very very rapidly…notice all the free internet sites and applications sprouting up per minute…the integral age integrates all aspects of oneself into a holistic system…like listening attentively to each and everyone of your 100 trillion cells dancing in perfected harmony…when that integral self is mirrored back by another integral self…an amazing oneness between the two occurs…a new perspective of living in the SPACE or unified field ..its greeted with pure hilariousness…and a very beautiful pure perfect love…barack says ‘grace’…the utopian age is integrated into the heart of reality with oneself, the planet, the family, the universe, the community, the nation…i haven’t personally met anyone there but i have my heart open for such an encounter …and i am sure it is right in MY FACE…WE are all experiencing the most amazing wonderous utopia imaginable …each one of our individual unique genius cells is AMAZING, meaning if WE could understand and actualize the intelligence of one cell ..every prize known to mankind would be gifted…AND we ALL have 100 million cells dancing in perfected harmony ….that is UTOPIA..first hand here and now…once people shift of change into this perspective of freedom…SURF’S UP!! and no matter what ALL AGES are happening at the same time so INTEGRATION with ONESELF is the key….clearer????

Shecky – I’m with Robert & wonderful Ponet, what a terrific Twitter she is. The excitement is we are entering a completely new economic & spiritual age that is still nameless. The World has made this difficult transition before and trying times will be present – OK accept the challenge and help move mankind to the next level. History tells us how difficult the struggle will be as the status quo will resist this unstoppable move. My only regret is that I will not experience the full magnitude of this New Age, but at least I was present for it’s launch and I break my Champaign bottle on it’s bow and drink with delight.
